Terms of Service

Welcome to Pearson and Co. Mediation Services, registered in British Columbia, Canada. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and our consulting, training, and mediation services. By engaging with ReformIQ, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

We currently serve clients across Canada and may expand to other regions in the future, including the United States.

2. Services Provided

Pearson and Co. Mediation Services offers consulting and training services, including:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Team performance training
  • Workplace mediation services
  • Leadership development programs for construction foremen and supervisors

Services are available in-person or virtually, at our discretion. We may decline virtual service delivery if we determine that in-person would be more effective. All clients must be at least 18 years old and authorized decision-makers for their organization.

3. Payment & Billing

  • We offer hourly, half-day, full-day, and retainer-based pricing, determined through a written engagement agreement.
  • Accepted payment method: Bank transfer
  • Payment is due based on the terms outlined in your agreement.
  • Missed or overdue payments will receive reminders and may be subject to collections.
  • No refunds or guarantees are offered once services are initiated or delivered.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session and will be applied to any rescheduled appointments.
  • Minimum 1 week’s (7 days) notice is required to reschedule a session.
  • At this time, we do not charge additional cancellation or no-show fees beyond forfeiture of the deposit.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate information and participate fully in sessions.
  • Clients must sign contracts or participation agreements before any work begins.
  • Clients agree not to copy or misuse proprietary materials, content, or approaches from Pearson and Co. Mediation Services .
  • Employers are responsible for internal governance and implementation of any outcomes.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, training guides, and resources are owned by Pearson and Co. Mediation Services, unless stated otherwise.
  • Clients may not reproduce or distribute these materials unless credited to Pearson and Co. Mediation Services and used without alteration.
  • No warranties are provided regarding the accuracy, completeness, or results of training content.

7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

  • We provide consulting and mediation services, but we are not licensed legal, medical, or mental health professionals.
  • Our services are not a substitute for legal, medical, or psychological advice.
  • We are not liable for the outcome of disputes between employees following mediation.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect basic contact information (name, email, company) for professional communication and service delivery.
  • Data is stored via Hubspot and not shared with third parties.

9. Third-Party Tools & Services

We use third-party platforms for meetings and scheduling, including:

  • Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google, Calendly

We are not responsible for service interruptions, bugs, or errors caused by these third-party tools.

10. Termination of Services

  • Either party may terminate the relationship based on terms in the signed agreement.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or end an engagement if a client violates the agreement or refuses to comply.
  • Unpaid or outstanding balances at the time of termination may be subject to collections, depending on the context.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Clients will be notified via:

  • A notice on our website
  • Email or newsletter distribution
